and will end the 140 mile ride at the Augusta Marriott riverfront in

Augusta, Georgia


Check-In from 6 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

**Please note that all are welcome for this ride, but riders must maintain a speed of at least 17-18 mph on a course with varied terrain including hills.
** Rest stops approximately every 20 - 25 miles.

Jersey Distribution - Jerseys will be available for pickup on Friday, Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Bicycle Link, 408 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Savannah. They will also be available for pickup the morning of the ride at the ACI.


Directions to the ACI - From Waters Avenue, turn into the Memorial campus and travel straight back. You will pass the Ronald McDonald House on your left, the Center for Advanced Medicine on your right, and the Georgia Eye Institute on your left. Then you will see a stop sign. At that stop sign, turn right the ACI will be ahead on the right.
From the Truman Parkway, take the DeLesseps Avenue exit and follow blue hospital signs. At second stop sign on Hospital Access Road, turn right. The ACI will be straight ahead.

Bus Ride - On Sunday, October 16 the return bus to Savannah will depart at 9 a.m. from the Augusta Marriott and arrive back at the Anderson Cancer Institute at approximately 12:30 p.m.. Your bus ride is included in your registration fee. However, please reserve your seat if you have not already. Call Dorothy at 350-1524 to reserve your seat.

Hotel - If you have not made a hotel reservation yet, please note the deadline to get the special Harvest of Hope rate is Friday, Oct. 7.

Lunch - Lunch will be provided.

Dinner - Your ride entry fee includes your meal at the celebration dinner following the ride. You are welcome to bring guests, but you must reserve space for them. The last day to register additional guests for dinner is noon, Friday, Oct. 7. The cost is $30 for additional adults and $15 for additional children. To reserve space, call Dorothy at 912-350-1524.

Parking - You may park in the lot directly in front of the ACI. If you are planning to have a private car at the hotel, please note that the hotel has construction ongoing and parking is limited. There is still secured parking available in the hotel's surface lot on 10th Street but there is limited availability and the rate for vehicles is $15.00 per night.
